Kurt VanDeursen has been married for 36 years to his wife Mara and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Kurt and his wife own 2 Ace Hardware Stores, one of which their son manages & the other they manage together. Kurt has a college degree in architecture. Kurt worked in his field for about 5 years and then had the opportunity to purchase an Ace store, leading to another several years later. He lives in a small town in central Illinois out in the country and enjoys all kinds of gardening, watching and feeding the wildlife, fishing in the pond and traveling whenever he gets a chance. His 4 grandchildren are a delight to him & he enjoys hanging out with them whenever he can. Kurt attends the Methodist church in Sullivan, IL.
